(Yahoo!) - Nashville has been taking notice of Sarah Darling for some time now, despite the fact that the winsome blond star-in-the-making hasn't even put out a full-length album yet. She has released an EP, appeared on ABC's hit reality show "The Bachelor" (as a performer, not a contestant!), toured with "American Idol"Scotty McCreery, and even served as a spokesperson for everyone' favorite Southern sweet snack, Moon Pies.
Still, the singer insists that she's not going to put out her full set until she's got everything just right, and this is a promise she appears to be working on steadily. Having split with her original label, Black River Entertainment, earlier this year, Darling is currently exploring her options--but not resting on her laurels. She's just released a summery new tune, "Little Umbrellas," accepted a proposal from her boyfriend, and is busy planning both a wedding and her next strategic career move.
Yahoo! Our Country had the opportunity to sit down with the busy bride-to-be and ask her about her decisions of late. Despite the title of her latest single, there appears to be very few stormy clouds overhead in this gal's life.
Our Country: Can you talk about your decision to split with your label? You had quite a bit of momentum going with Black River Entertainment, so I am sure some fans will be surprised by your move.
Sarah Darling: My decision to leave Black River was a mutual one between the label and I. It had been on my heart for awhile to make a change, and sometimes it takes just that to get you to the next level! It was the right time for me to leave. I always feel that everyone and everything has a place in your life at the right time.
Kenny Chesney's done it again. His "No Shoes Nation" trek has become his tenth consecutive tour to surpass the one-million mark in ticket sales. But this year he reached the milestone sooner than he had in the past. Following last weekend's tally, Chesney's total ticket sales count was 1,089,000- and tickets for upcoming shows continue to sell.
The country superstar admits he's moved by his fans' dedication. He says he's always humbled when concertgoers tell him they make their summer plans around his shows, because he can remember being that kind of fan. Chesney explains that he strives to deliver the best show possible each time he hits the stage, and adds that it might be why he's hit that million ticket mark so early this year.
Kenny's next show is coming up at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday. Eric Church, the Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves are on board as openers.

(TMZ) - Billy Ray Cyrus is getting divorced... TMZ has learned.
Billy Ray's wife, Tish Cyrus, is citing "irreconcilable differences" in her filing. Her decision to pull the plug on the marriage comes 3 years after Billy Ray filed for divorce but dropped it in an attempt to work things out.
Billy Ray and Tish have been married for 19 years and have 5 children, including, of course, Miley. There's only one minor child left, Noah Cyrus, who is 13.
Tish is asking for full physical and legal custody, with visitation to Billy Ray.
(Yahoo!) - Lady Antebellum have been enjoying the spunkiest and sauciest hit of their career with the chart-topping single "Downtown," even as the videos and promotional appearances for it feature Hillary Scott looking ever-so-more pregnant. As the band takes the stage for an exclusive Yahoo! Musicperformance, the average viewer might not notice Scott's expectancy all that much, thanks to the miracles of slimming black.
Still, there is that moment when Scott pleads "I don't know why you don't take me downtown anymore" that you might imagine her partner's response reasonably being, "Um, because your water might break?"
Even with the blessed event being just weeks away — Scott's baby girl, her first, is due in late July — the trio haven't lost a step, and if anything, have been compressing about six months' worth of the usual album promotion into roughly half that time.
"I can probably speak for everybody on our team and say it’s easier to promote a record when someone’s not pregnant," Scott says. "For sure!"
"Fewer naps in the middle of the day," adds Dave Haywood. It's not clear whether the guitarist is speaking for Scott or himself when it comes to increased narcolepsy, but...
"The pacing has definitely had to be different," says Scott, in the course of promoting Golden, their fourth album. "I mean, we’ve traveled to the same places that we always do when we promote records. But there’s this crazy thing that happens when you’re pregnant. Like, when the baby says, 'Mom, I’m tired,' your body just stops and you just kind of start staring through people and not even meaning to. But it’s been good. I haven’t been sick, which has been really nice. Thankfully, my energy level has been high."
Darius Rucker will be featured on next week's installment of "The Bachelorette." According to the show's website, the episode will feature "Bachelorette" Desiree Hartsock and her suitors traveling to Atlantic City, where the guys vying for her heart will take part in a "Mr. America" pageant.
Desiree and one of her dates will also meet a couple living in an area hard hit by Hurricane Sandy. They decide to do something that "brings the couple to tears," and "Rucker plays a part in the heart-wrenching surprise."
Darius will also perform a private concert for Desiree and her date. Rucker's episode of "The Bachelorette" will air on ABC on Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
